SHUTTLES

SHUTTLE RESERVATIONS

Reservations are required for all shuttle services.  24-hour advance notice will provide the best opportunity for a good customer service experience.  Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.  Your submitted reservation is your acceptance of all terms and conditions.

SHUTTLE REFUNDS

A deposit of $40 per rider is required for all shuttle services and is payable at the time of sign-up and is non-refundable. 

Shuttle service balances (cost per rider less deposit) are due prior to or at the time of pick up on the day of service.

Full refunds will be made in the event of our unexpected cancellation of a scheduled, confirmed shuttle.  In these circumstances, refunds will be processed within 48 hours of the cancellation and should be credited to the account used for payment within 5 business days of processing.

TOURS

TOUR RESERVATIONS

You may reserve a spot on a tour through the America Bicycle Journeys (ABJ) online booking system or by calling the ABJ team.  A deposit of $600 is due at the time of booking and this deposit is non-refundable.

TOUR DISCOUNTS

Breakaway Discount

The first ten riders to register will receive a 2% discount for the tour.  Reservations must be made at least 90 days prior to the start of the tour.

 

Peloton Discount

Bring a friend and you’ll both receive a 5% discount for the tour.  Bring a second friend.  You’ll receive an additional 5% discount, and the second friend receives the 5% discount too.  Sorry, your limited to a peloton of three. 

 

Discounts for Payment by Check or Wire

Make tour fee payments by check or wire and receive a 2% discount.  Payment must be received by the balance due date, no return payments and must be in US funds.

 

Discount Notes

The combination of discounts will not exceed 15% per person per tour.  Discounts can be applied to tour segments.  Contact us by phone or email when completing tour registration to help ensure all applicable discounts are applied.  We look forward to touring with you.

TOUR PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Tour payments must be made as follows:

Deposit ($600)                                     Due at time of booking

First Payment (50% of tour price)   90 days ahead of tour start date

Final Payment (tour balance)           45 days ahead of tour start date

Full payment is due at the time of booking if a tour is booked within 45 days of the tour’s start date. Fifty percent (50%) of tour booking is due when tour is booked more than 45 days of the tour start date but less than 90 days of tour start date. 

Non-payment according to this payment schedule is rider’s cancellation of their registration and forfeiture of any payments received.

RIDER CANCELLATION AND TOUR REFUNDS

Rider Cancel – 75+ days before departure               75% of paid tour fee refunded

Rider Cancel – 45-74 days after departure               50% of paid tour fee refunded

Rider Cancel – 44 days or less before departure    No refunds

No refunds are possible after tours begin.  The purchase of travel insurance may help defray expenses should it be necessary to cancel a trip.

In the event America Bicycle Journeys cancels a tour due to low rider registrations or unforeseen circumstances, paid tour fees will be fully refunded to registered riders by the method of payment used by the rider.
